SoleLuna is situated in the centre of Palermo. This enables our guests to easily get around and further enjoy the rich and colourful historical and cultural aspects of the city. At approximately three hundred metres from here, by walking down via Cavour you will meet the Teatro Massimo;if you cross over via Ruggero Settimo, you reach the Teatro Politeama. By leaving the central via Roma behind you and walking down Corso Vittorio Emanuele, you may stop off at the characteristic market, the "Vuccirria" and from there reach the well-known Piazza Marina. In this area there are plenty of monuments to visit such as: Palazzo Abatellis, Palazzo Steri, Palazzo Mirto, the Chiesa di S. Francesco d'Assisi, the Chiesa di S. Maria alla Kalsa. SoleLuna is very near to the Porto al Foro Italico, in a few minutes you may reach the Stazione Centrale after having enjoyed the beauties of the Orto Botanico.
And for the hungry tummies, make sure you taste Palermo's characteristic specialities, such as the panino with panelle, pane with milza and also the delicious pastries and cakes such as cannoli, cassata, brioche with ice-cream etc.
SoleLuna's guests contributs to the realisation of the "Solidarity Project". The boarding fee also includes a sum equal to 5% that serves as a contribution to the project.
The apartment that was re-modernised in May 2004, is situated on the second floor of a building that was built at the beginning of the century. You may reach the second floor by lift. The house is approximately 170 square metres. The ceilings are high and the rooms are large and bright.
