Corleone is surrounded by wonderful nature. There is Ficuzza wood, which peregrine falcons fly over; there is the Corleone stream and its Due Rocche waterfall; but above all there is history that rises on two rocks. The Saracen Tower, from the 11th century, is what is left of the upper castle, while on the other side of the stream there are the remains of the lower castle or Rocca Sottana, now a hermitage of renewed Franciscan friars that live there in total enclosure.
