PIANA DEGLI ALBANESI The Eparch (bishop) celebrates the Solemn Pontifical mass in the San Demetrio Cathedral; the celebration also features ancient Albanian songs and readings from the Gospel in seven different languages. A merry parade of Albanian folk costumes takes place aftwerwards, together with the brezil (valuable belt from the local folk costume) drawing and the distribution to all participants of the blessed red eggs.
