The city

pro loco (info points) >>

Neighbouring the Ficuzza wood, Cefalà Diana is especially famous for two relevant cultural sites: the outstanding Castle and the Arabian baths. The Castle, dating back to the Islamic period, has been recently restored and was part of a strategic network of fortresses on the Palermitan territory; you can still see part of its massive walls and its typical three-storey tower. The Arabian baths are part of the Cefalà Diana and Pizzo Chiarastella natural bath reserve; their origin dates back to the Islamic period as well, and they were then modified during the Roman and Norman age. The nearby Pizzo Chiarastella is a limestone outcrop from which the baths’water springs.
