Sferracavallo is a lovely seaside suburb that has been a tourist destination for people that like its natural beauties as well as its delicious Mediterranean food since ancient times.
Situated between Punta Matese and Punta Barcarello, it is washed by a beautiful sea, full of fish species and with a multicoloured marine flora.
Its Arabian nature comes out from some simple and characteristic courtyards, such as Cortile Rizzuto, where there is a house from which you may contemplate the green of the hinterland and the blue of the bay.
The most important event: the Feast of St. Cosma and St. Damiano -the suburb’s patron saints- celebrated on the last Sunday of September.
